Jeff Kaliss writes about Jazz, World Music, Opera and Classical, Country, Rock, Theater, Film, and Radio for a variety of San Francisco Bay Area, national, international, and Internet periodicals and sites. He invigorates the relationship between ideas and matter. Jeff penned a junior high school text and numerous album liner notes, and has contributed to the Rough Guides to Jazz and World Music and music festival programs.
Jeff is also the Co-Founder of the Critics' Corner segment on KCSM Jazz
Radio and has presented World Music on KQED-TV, San Francisco. His reviews of albums, films, books, and CD-ROMs have appeared in print, on the Internet, and on KCSM. He recently toured Brazil as part of a five-person team of music journalists, conducting interviews and observations of that country's music.
